The La Encantada Vineyard is located in the western end of the Santa Rita Hills, part of the Santa Ynez Mountains of southern California, where the vines are cooled by coastal winds traveling through the river valley. The growing season of 2008 saw ideal conditions throughout to produce a wine of excellent pedigree.

Our 2008 La Encantada Vineyard Pinot Noir engages the senses with a deep and complex nose of berries followed by flavors of black fruit and a touch of earthiness. Smooth on the palate with good acidity, this wine exhibits a perfect level of tannins to produce a powerful mouthfeel and a long, lingering finish.
